It’s Theo’s World was founded by Andreea Habash, Theodor's mom. When Theodor entered my life, everything changed. Not just the usual parental transformation, but a complete overhaul in perception. Watching Theodor engage with the world was like seeing color for the first time. The mundane became magical—ants in the grass, a caterpillar’s slow descent, the focused work of bees, the distant call of an owl—his world is rich with wonder and a boundless desire for learning.

Then came the books. Reading to Theodor, I noticed a disconnect. The stories that engaged him were those mirroring his own universe—real, tangible, relatable. The conventional, fantastical and often nonsensical stories? They fell flat. Here was a child mesmerized by animals, insects, and nature, yet we were offering him a diluted version of it.

I saw a gap, a need unmet. And thus, 'It's Theo's World' was born. Leveraging my background in marketing and communications, I embarked on a mission to create children's books that mirrored the real world. Why? Because science argues that the brain lights up, language flourishes, and reading skills soar when children see images that reflect their reality. We all know that children have an immense capacity for learning, so let’s give them what they desire and deserve, which is to learn and understand their world as it is.

Creating these books and reading them to Theodor I found something else — deeper a connection to our wondrous world and desire to safeguard it for the future generations. So, a part of each sale goes towards causes relating to the theme of each book. It's about showing children like Theodor the magic of this world and the importance of giving back to it.
